Day 11 – Not a Self-Soother
I didn’t even know that there are kids out there who can just calm down by themselves, randomly fall asleep while lying in their cribs or just peacefully entertain themselves without attention…. Oooooh no, high-need baby is not a self-soothing baby! system malfunction 1+
Day 10 – Can’t put baby down
I just call it “unputdownable”. 3+
Day 9 – Super-sensitive
“Quite easy to read” – now, that might sound like a compliment because you’ll ALWAYS know when something is wrong (he’ll just scream bloody murder with the slightest discomfort and dissatisfaction) but try to guess what’s wrong!! That’s the tricky part! 1+
Day 8 – Unpredictable
You can be sure of one thing with high-need babies: whatever you think you have figured out today, it will mean nothing tomorrow! Perfect for those who love constant surprises I don’t 😩. 2+
Day 7 – Unsatisfied

Day 3 – Draining
Welcome to the “mum zone” (I guess it does resemble mummy or zombie state) – there is no power, no sleep, and energy deficiency. What we have though, lots of crying, clingy babies, and family trips (A.K.A. visits to the toilet). Enjoy the ride! 2+
